I just bought a new laptop .
The first thing I did was backed up windows vista then I put Ubuntu on it
It turns out I'm able to do pretty much everything I was able to do with windows .
The big thing I was looking for in a laptop was one that would work well with Ubuntu. I did much reading online to find I wanted to go with a nvidia graphics chip set because the linux support I've found to work alot better. So I bought the cheapest laptop I could find that would do what I needed. I paid just under 400 for a

amd doel core 2 gig prossessere
2 gig of ram
250 gig hard drive
15.6 wide screen
O and my fave the keyboard has a numberpad
The make is campac

So anyone out there looking for a laptop that works good with Ubuntu Look to New Egg.

I Have had no problems with driver. the video drivers work like a charm wirless is a peice of cake .

Warcraft three
Old Genises Games

Hi you all I'm back ,just went out of town with this laptop and stayed at a hotel. At the hotel I used there internet through wireless my laptop did quit well. O and wile I'm thinking about it I was having a problem getting Warcraft 3 to run at full screen and host lan . I'm very glad to say I fixed these problems . warcraft 3 plays like a dream now through wine . All I did was patch wine for the network problem here Then for my screen problem I went to home folder Pushed (ctrl h ) Thats so you can see heden files then I went to( .wine/drive c /windows/regedit.exe ) I opened regedit exe went to current user then to software blizerd entertainment worcraft three then to video seting and put in my screens high and width . Thats the jifs of it ,worked well for me I hope anyone looking for this info finds what there looking for and more importunate get the game to do what they want thanks you all tell next time
